Empire Welding was engaged to design, engineer, manufacture and install a new service crane access door at the top of the Wellington Street Telstra building.
Working alongside Alan at Crisp Engineering, the existing door was 3D scanned to assist with design development, finite element analysis (FEA) and certification of the new structure. The works formed part of a broader upgrade project involving removal and replacement of backup generators from the 16th floor.
The result was a compliant, precision-engineered access solution delivered safely within an operational CBD environment.
